This mixed berry crumble tart features a delightful combination of cooked blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries nestled in a cookie-like tart shell. The tart has a crispy bottom and a tangy, flavorful filling, crowned with a buttery crumble that adds an extra layer of texture. It's perfect for serving at dessert gatherings or tea time, offering a comforting dessert that can be made with fresh or frozen berries.
Ingredients
- •500 g mixed berries (or just one type)
- •140 g granulated sugar
- •0.5 unit lime juice (only)
- •2.5 tbsp cornstarch (or cornflour)
- •0.67 tsp salt
- •0.67 tsp ground cinnamon
- •100 g all-purpose flour
- •100 g unsalted butter (cold and cut in cubes)
- •120 g brown sugar
- •0.5 tsp salt

For the crust, make the tart dough recipe, bake it, and let it cool down to room temperature before filling.

For the filling, mix all the filling ingredients in a pot.

Cook the filling until it starts to boil and you can see the base of the pot when mixing.

Remove the filling from the pot and let it cool down completely.

Once cold, fill the baked and cold tart shell with the filling.
