Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add diced onion and sauté until translucent.
Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned.
Drain excess fat if needed.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and red wine.
Bring to a simmer and cook uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, beaten egg, parsley, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Mix gently until smooth and creamy.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
