Gather all ingredients and equipment needed for the recipe.
Place ground beef, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, chopped parsley, beaten egg, salt, and pepper into a large mixing bowl.
Gently mix the ingredients until just combined.
Form small, evenly sized balls from the meat mixture, each about 1 inch in diameter.
Place formed meatballs on a clean plate or tray.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
Gently add meatballs to the heated skillet and cook each side for about 4-5 minutes, until nicely browned.
In a separate saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
Pour in tomato puree and add dried oregano, stirring to combine.
Transfer cooked meatballs to the simmering sauce and cover.
Allow to simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
